This small vessel was operated by the Lane Cove & Hunters Hill Steam Ferry Company.

She operated on the Lane Cove River along with Pearl, Daphne & Lobelia. Her primary role was as a cargo vessel, although she would, from time to time, operate as an excursion vessel. She made her cargo run up the river once daily.

Iris was broken up in 1928.
