Charles Jeanneret was the first owner for this ferry and operated her on the new and growing Mosman Bay route at the beginning of her career. She later operated in the Rozelle Bay area.

 In December of 1892 she was sold to the North Shore Steam Ferry company and renamed to Lilac.

Her final fate is not known.
